	The temperate rainforests of Chile are rapidly disappearing

On the flipside of the equator from the Northwest US and British Columbia, Canada, much of Chile's forests are rare coastal temperate rainforests.

Because these forests are globally important and are quickly being destroyed, wood from these areas should be avoided.
