One of the most common places we see tropical hardwoods being used is in restaurants. Architects, designers and restaurant owners love the idea of the status that mahogany and other exotic hardwoods bring to their establishment.

Even lower-scale restaurants often use mahogany doors and panel their interiors and foyers with mahogany and other tropical woods.

We've found that Irish pubs are particularly prone to use rainforest woods.

Below (and with links to the right) are some of the restaurant chains we've found using tropical hardwoods in the construction of their restaurants. Please contact these companies to help us convince them to end their use of uncertified rainforest woods.
