Jonathan Maslow is author of Footsteps in the Jungle; Bird of Life, Bird of Death; and Torrid Zone and is currently a journalist with the Herald of Cape May County. He recently received a Heinz fellowship to work with journalists in Guyana to explore local environmental issues. His excellent reporting helped expose the foolishness of the proposed use of rainforest woods by Wildwood, NJ for boardwalk renovations. He is also an active member of the Dennis Township Environmental Commission, one of the most active in the region.
